spread the facts

An exhibition concept about migration and prejudice for the Halle für Kunst in Graz.

-> OVERALL CONCEPT
-> ROOM VISUALIZATIONS

JANUARY 2024

The exhibition deals with the topic of migration in the past, present and future. It clears up prejudices against immigrants and gives an insight into why migrants are an enrichment for society.

This exhibition invites you to look at the topic of migration from different angles. It offers insights through facts, statistics and stories to provide a deeper understanding of this controversial but essential topic.

The Halle für Kunst in Graz was chosen as the exhibition venue. Due to the open architecture, the exhibition concept can be implemented individually with built-in walls and separate walkways.

Warm colors were intentionally chosen to create a positive image for this theme. The design element of the hand  symbolizes the identity of an individual and is intended to highlight the personalities behind the terms “migrant” and “refugee”. The edgy shape is the contrast to the organic and a symbol of barriers and borders.

This project was developed as part of the Master's program in Exhibition Design at FH Joanneum Graz.
