It’s April and I’m at the seaside for the second time this year. I still can’t believe it. The sun is shining on my face and I’m jumping around the wide beach with joy like a little child. “The next five days are going to be great!,” I think to myself. And that’s exactly how it turned out – with strong winds, freezing-cold ocean swims and people I hadn’t known before.

We just called it ‘the pirate ship’. It lay off the coast, looking dangerous yet calm. We imagined how they would capture the town. After a few days, it was gone and nothing happened. It was all just a fantasy.

Running into the foamy waves and jumping across the wet sand. Proudly showing off a simple stone. Just being as carefree as a child again.
